Young skiers 4 to 8 years old alter tradition at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe due to Covid-19

RENO, Nev. — Covid won’t keep this self-made ski team down! Meet four members of the Biggest Little Ski Club, started by parents in 2014, when the kids were 1-2 years old.

These girls have grown up together, spending every weekend of the ski season ripping down their local Northern Nevada mountain, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe.

With the official ski team closed for the younger population due to COVID-19 restrictions, the girls and their parents are even more appreciative for the time they’ve put in and the outdoors where the girls can get some friend time!

These girls and their younger siblings meet up, wear masks, ski hard, and have switched their Apres Ski tradition from lodge time to enjoying homemade hot chocolate car-side.

Ranging from 4-8-years-old, this crew takes the mountain by storm, looks forward to riding the lifts on their own someday (i.e. without parents), and is starting to give the adults a run for their money!
