With 14-0 record Satellite HS boys tennis eyes FHSAA state championships
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. — The 2021 Satellite Boys Tennis Team picked up right where we ended last year when our season ended early because of the pandemic. Last year we were 11-0 and this year we are undefeated in Brevard County matches with a 14-0 record. This year’s team is indeed exceptional in their tennis skills and comportment. They are truly student athletes.
The team top 5 players are Max Lindstrom, Amadeus Alcock, Caleb Domkowski, Walter Wood and Davis Orr (Team Captain). Other team members in the top ten players that have played matches this year include Evan Karcher, Charlie Collins, Declan Daleiden, Dillen Scott, and Talen Guertin.
Max, Amadeus, and Caleb are tournament players with state rankings. They are on track for College scholarships.
This year we graduate three 4-year lettermen Walker Wood, Davis Orr and Charlie Scott. A BIG thanks to them for their significant contribution to Satellite Boys Tennis for four years. Additionally, Evan Karcher, two years and Doug Evans, three years are seniors that will graduate this year. It has been a great ride and we are grateful that they chose tennis.
As of the date of this writing, we are preparing for post season play which includes the District tournament the second week of April then Regional semifinals and finals and hopefully a trip to the State Championships.
Other team members include Wyatt Hubbard, Garrett Smith, Michael Kelly, Doug Evans, Matt Cohen, and Sam Morsics.
We also want to thank Niki Jones Allstate Insurance for their 13-year support of the Boys Tennis team. They also sponsored the Girls team this year.
