Clearview seventh grader, DelRossi, earns third place in Jujutsu at NAGA tournament

MULLICA HILL, N.J. — Clearview 7th grader, Steven DelRossi, competed in his first NAGA Tournament on April 24, 20201 Winning all but one match, Steven earned a 3rd place win in jui-jitsu.

The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) is the largest submission grappling association in the world, including some of the top submission grapplers and MMA fighters in the world.  They hold Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments throughout North America and Europe.

Steven began wresting at the age of 7 for the Clearview wresting Junior program. He continues to wrestle for Clearview Middle School. Two years ago, he began training at Webb Mixed Martial Arts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He performed exceptionally well at his first NAGA Tournament and plans on competing again this summer.
