Satellite High XC teams are on a winning streak

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. — The SHS Cross Country teams ran in Huntsville in September where the boys were 2nd out of 132 schools, losing to Jesuit out of New Orleans. The boys continued their streak and won the Katie Caples invite in Jacksonville out of 50 schools.

The boys won their 7th conference and district titles in a row in October and were led by seniors Dayton Law and Justin Wilson. Dayton was 3rd at the conference meet and Justin 4th. They were followed closely in 6th and 7th by Adan Mason and Andrew Mahorner with Carson Waggoner coming in 10th to secure the 3-point conference win over Viera High. 

For the girls, Braelyn Wahy finished 6th and Reagan Cancro 8th to lead them to a 9-point victory over Viera High to win the Scorp girls 5th conference title in the past 7 years.

The teams continued their streak at the region meet at Wickham Park on November 5th where the girls and boys both won. Up next is the state meet on November 12th in Tallahassee. Photos and results can be found on the team website: satellitetfxc.com.
