What sports do you play? Which is your favorite and why?
Cohen Bennett: Baseball and basketball. Baseball–from an early age I had a love for the sport and that love has stuck with me and grown since then.

Describe your team. What is your best team memory?
Bennett: Rowdy, fun, loud, brothers, my closest friends, and just a bunch of “dirtbags”. I remember when I hit a walk-off in 13U and they all came on the field to celebrate.

Do you have a role model in baseball? Why do you look up to them?
Bennett: I look up to Anthony Rizzo because we both play first base. He’s a great player and we have very similar play styles. He’s also a very nice guy.

Which strengths do you believe you have that make you a great athlete?
Bennett: My ability to tune out the world around me and focus on the task at hand.

What are your goals for you and your team this year?
Bennett: For us to play good team-oriented baseball. The reason being is that in football and basketball you can have one star player and they can win the game for you, but baseball you have to have everybody do their job.
