Newfoundland Rogues crush St. Louis Spirit, 158-125, for sixth straight win

ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland — The Newfoundland Rogues continued their unbeaten start to the season in their toughest test yet against the St. Louis Spirit. While the final score wasn’t close it was a two-point game as late as the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Tyrone Young came off the bench to pour in 25 on a blistering 11/13 shooting, and was named player of the game for his efforts. Tonzell Handy also contributed 25 points.

Paul Hill led the Spirit with 44 points.

With the win, the Rogues improved to 6-0 and now lead the ABA Northeast division. They have an incredible combined +305 point differential over their opponents

After four games in five nights, The Rogues are off until Saturday, Dec. 18 when they take on the San Francisco City Cats.
