ALEXANDRIA, Ky. — The Campbell County High School Lady Camels varsity soccer team ended the 2021 season with the best record in school history with a 19-5-2 record surpassing the 2014 team’s 18-6-1 record. The team swept both the District 37 and Region 10 championships advancing to the sweet sixteen of the KHSAA state tournament before losing to the eventual state champion Notre Dame Academy.

Junior forward Ruby Dunlevy broke the school’s single season scoring record with thirty goals, surpassing Lydia Kramer’s 22 goals (2017). She also broke the school’s career scoring record with 56 goals, surpassing Kaitlin Bryan’s 39 goals (2008-2011). Dunlevy was voted Region 10’s Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the All-State 1st Team.

Junior defender Sophie Jones was voted Region 10’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Both Jones and junior goalkeeper Morgan Rawe were selected Honorable Mention All-State.
