INDIANAPOLIS — The American Basketball Association (ABA) completed the second weekend of its play-in round games over the weekend as a record number of teams compete to make the Final Eight Tournament.

“This was one super-competitive weekend,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman, “with possibly two of the biggest upsets in league history. The Burning River Buckets defeated the #2 ranked Chicago Fury on Saturday night and came back and defeated the #9 ranked Ohio Bruins on Sunday afternoon and thus locked up a spot in the Final Eight for the North Central Region. Just an amazing outcome of a very well-run tournament.”
