Throwers Earn MW Athlete of the Week Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Backed by strong performances at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego last week, two Air Force throwers were honored with weekly Mountain West awards this afternoon (March 29). Junior Jaret Prete was named the MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, while Joe Nizich captured MW Freshman of the Week honors following his collegiate debut.
