BreAnna Steele (6-9) started and took the loss in the circle for Fayetteville State (12-15, 7-4 CIAA). Morgan Jackson led the way offensively for the Broncos, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame with a double. Brianna Crosby furnished a standout performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
