SIOUX FALLS, SD – University of Mary centerfielder Ty Jones crushed a pair of home runs in the opening game of the 2022 Northern Sun baseball tournament to help the Marauders break the single season team record for round trippers. Despite Jones’ efforts, UMary was unable to match the power displayed by #18 Augustana. The NSIC champion and top-seeded Vikings hit five home runs in a 19-2 win over the 8th seeded Marauders.
