Senior Noah Herdman (Naperville, Ill.) came up with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning in the Mariners’ second game of the Skyline double-elimination tournament on Saturday against Farmingdale State and he roped the first pitch into left-center to plate classmate Brayden O’Connell (Beaver Dams, N.Y.) with the winning run in the USMMA baseball team’s 4-3 win over the Rams out at St. Joseph’s-L.I.’s Alfano Field.
