Kohl delivers clutch pitching performance in 8-5 win over Northwood
HAMMOND, Ind. – The Panther baseball team got a much-needed pitching performance from junior lefty James Kohl on Saturday afternoon to stave off elimination for the second straight game in the GLIAC Tournament. Davenport beat Northwood 8-5 at Dowling Park and now remains as one of three teams in the tournament. The Panthers will now play Wayne State tonight at 8:30 PM (7:30 PM CT) at the U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, Ind. The Warriors lost earlier today in 12 innings against Purdue Northwest who is 3-0 in the tournament as the sixth seed.
