SEATTLE – Graduate student La Joya High alum Ricardo Mendoza ended his career with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros on a high note, winning the silver medal in the men’s 800-meter run on Saturday at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Seattle.
