Wheeling, W. Va. – Entering the 2021-2022 season, the Wheeling University Men’s Golf team knew they had a young team on their hands. With all but two of their golfers being either freshmen or sophomores, the Cardinals had the talent, but were looking to gain experience as they went out on the course. As the year went on, each golfer improved their game with every invitational, and it ended with the first trip to the NCAA Regional Tournament by a representative of the team since 2018.
