Newport News, VA – The Hunter softball team resumed NCAA action earlier this afternoon with their second round game against Wilson College. The Hawk defense was solid all game and did not commit an error, but offensively, were held to just one hit. The Phoenix were able to put two runs on the board which proved to be just enough to make it through to the end of the seventh. The 2-0 loss brings Hunter’s season to a close and puts their record at 22-14.
