Sports programs under the Prescott Valley Parks & Recreation

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — Sports programs of our town are under the aegis of its Park and Recreation Department, headquartered on the third floor of 7501 E. Skoog Boulevard in Prescott Valley.  Park and Rec provides a wide variety of aquatic, athletic and outdoor activities. A June event of interest is MLB Pitch Hit and Run for boys and girls ages 7-14, with baseball and softball divisions held at Mountain Valley Park Fourplex (8600 E. Nace Lane) on June 5 at 11 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Registration is at http:/tinyurl.com/pvalleyphr and is free; registration is already open.

Softball is offered in both spring and fall.  The cost is $300 per team with a guarantee of 7 regular season games plus a single elimination tournament for the top 4 teams.  There must be a minimum of 10 players per team and all must be 15 or older to play.

Park and Rec also offers adult summer 8v8 Coed Soccer with games played on Sundays between 10:00 A.M. and noon, season beginning in July 11.  Teams must have a minimum of 10 players with 3 women and 3 men on the field at all times; fee per team is $225, due at registration.
