CORTLAND, N.Y. – The nationally 16th-ranked Cortland women’s lacrosse team built a 9-0 lead after the first quarter and earned an 18-8 victory versus W. Conn. St. Saturday afternoon in the first round of the NCAA Div. III Tournament at the Stadium Complex. The Red Dragons won their 15th straight game, improving to 16-4 on the season, and advanced to the second round to face Roger Williams, Sunday at 1 p.m. The Wolves’ season ended at 15-5.
