KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Christian baseball team was able to stave off Carolina in an elimination game to pick up the program’s first ever win at the NCCAA World Series on Saturday, however the Evangels saw their season come to a bitter end after dropping a hard-fought 4-3 decision in 11 innings to College of the Ozarks in the afternoon contest at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy.
