OCALA, Fla. — My name is Leona Newman and im 13 years old. I skate for ocala speed team and skate with skate away south. My coach is Richard Hawkins aka spanky. I’m a third place national champion in the 2021 national championships for inline speed skating in cedar Rapids Iowa.

I’ve been skating for 4-5 years. I train 6 days a week, consisting of personal training fitness, fitness groups, and skating. I’ve been training hard all 4-5 of these years hoping to one day win the Olympics. I am looking for sponsorships to help me get to nationals. I have also qualified for outdoor nationals in Miami, FL.
