Former Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini joins LAFC
LOS ANGELES (BVM) — On Monday, 37-year-old soccer star Giorgio Chiellini confirmed he was joining LAFC.
This move doesn’t come as a shock, as it was reported around the beginning of June that Chiellini was set to join LAFC.

Chiellini is not the first international soccer star to set foot on the pitches of the MLS. Former stars such as Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimović are other names who joined the MLS in the final days of their career and have had great success.
As for Chiellini, the move will bring new sites and feelings. This will be the first time he has played for a new team since joining Juventus in 2004. Every time he sets football on the pitch he brings a wealth of knowledge and as captain, the players will look to him.
The 37-year-old has won the Serie A Defender of the Year three times along with his nine league titles. After Chiellini made 425 appearances for Juventus and 117 appearances for Italy
But it seems like Chiellini is ready for the next chapter.
