Hanover area Special Olympian pushes himself to be his best
HANOVER, Pa. — Meet Hayden Dell!
Hayden is an 18 year old student at Hanover High School where he participates in golf, wrestling and track. His favorite class is cooking! Hayden also participates in golf with the Special Olympics surrounding communities. He has touched so many lives with his continuous bubbly personality
Hayden has a very rare disease called WAGR Syndrome. Despite many surgeries and being legally blind Hayden is an amazing young man who is well known and loved in Hanover and his positive attitude. If you ever have the good fortune to meet Hayden, you will never forget him.
Hayden is unstoppable in the gym. He has been in the Special Warrior program at Hanover Family Fitness since he was very young. He is enthusiastic and works hard. His current favorite exercise is Bulgarian Split Squats but that could change at any time. Hayden’s pastimes are helping his dad coach basketball and watching his brother play baseball. Other than sports his interests include hunting, fishing, and sprint car races. He also loves to sing country music.
