MANHASSET, N.Y. — On June 12th, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce helped organize a special ceremony honoring the MHS 2022 Boys Varsity Basketball team, winners of the Class A State Championships. The team was presented with a proclamation from the town and each player received a certificate for their historic performance, in addition to a commemorative T-shirt. They will also each be receiving a championship jacket donated by the Chamber of Commerce and rings.

The boys were showered with praise about their chemistry, trust of one another and how they supported each other during games and practice. The team also thanked parents for their support and dedication.

Congratulations to this year’s championship team; the community is so proud!
