Atlanta Braves all-time team; Who are the franchise’s best?
ATLANTA (BVM) – The Atlanta Braves are one of Major League Baseball’s most historic franchises. Founded in 1871 as the Boston Redstockings, the team eventually became the Boston Braves before moving to Milwaukee in 1953. Just 13 years later, the franchise found its permanent home in Atlanta in 1966.
After enduring many losing seasons in their first two decades in Atlanta, the Braves became a perennial title contender through the 1990s and early 2000s, winning five NL pennants and a World Series title in 1995. Over the past four years, they have seen plenty of success yet again, culminating in a World Series championship in 2021.
While the roster features plenty of talent currently, Atlanta has had some truly special players suit up for the franchise over the years. Here’s a look at the best of the best to play for the Braves.
