Zack Martin, Mark Clayton top Indianapolis’ 10 best NFL stars
7. Jack Doyle, TE, Cathedral
It has only been a few months since Doyle retired, and he got to enjoy a solid nine-year NFL career with his hometown team. Doyle played his high school football at Cathedral and attended Western Kentucky for college as the Hilltoppers were his only FBS scholarship. After an impressive career where he had 162 career receptions for 1,769 yards and eight touchdowns, Doyle latched on with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. After being cut, Doyle joined the Indianapolis Colts where he became a favorite target for emerging quarterback Andrew Luck. Doyle fully broke out in an 80-catch 2017 season, earning his first Pro Bowl selection. The tight end would again make the Pro Bowl in 2019. Across his nine seasons, the undrafted free agent racked up 295 catches for 2,729 yards and 24 touchdowns as a local fan-favorite.
