LA MESA, Calif. – Although the San Diego Christian College Hawks ultimately fell to the visiting La Sierra Golden Eagles 3 sets to 1 on Tuesday night at Skyline Church, the team had much to be proud of. In the first official match for coach Bridgette Salas and her team, each successive set saw the Hawks begin to come together as a unit. The packed gym gave the Hawks tremendous encouragement, loud vocal support and clearly inspired the team. Outstanding performances were had by several players.
