NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State’s Ammaarah Williams has been named the MEAC Volleyball Co-Player of the Week while Ashley Roman received Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the first time that Williams has received a MEAC weekly award while in a Coppin uniform while Roman is picking up her tenth Defensive Player of the Week honor.
