Taxandria Falcons U13 soccer team working together toward a common goal
GRAND BEND, Ontario — The Taxandria Falcons U13 (EMDSL league) play with heart at every game, and they love it! For the kids, coaches, and families, this is so important. While winning is the desired outcome, youth team sports are designed to teach players how to work together toward a common goal. They also learn to appreciate each player for what he or she brings to the game, have fun, and enjoy some real camaraderie. This is what the Taxandria Falcons excel at!
Victor Franczuk, the team’s goalie, sums it up. “Even though our team doesn’t win every game, there has been a vast improvement in many areas, including teamwork. At this pace, we are bound to play better next season. We have amazing coaches! Thank you so much, Coach Ryan and Coach Jill.”
The team’s home field is in Arkona, and this year they’ve played in Arkona, London, Woodstock, Ilderton, and Strathroy. Players are welcomed from Watford, Forest, Arkona, Thedford, Grand Bend, and Zurich.
Coaches Ryan Vandenberg, and Jill Cook are extremely proud of each of the team members and look forward to working with them again next year.
