New York (RWH) The Women’s Sports Foundation in New York has announced US bobsleigh pilot Elana Meyers Taylor as recipient of the 2022 Wilma Rudolph Courage award for serving as inspiration and role model by overcoming adversity and exhibiting extraordinary courage in her athletic performance. Additionally to her athlete career, Elana Meyers Taylor served, amonst others, as the Women’s Sport Foundation president, athlete director on the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Board of Directors and athlete representative at USOPC Board of Directors.
