Cowboys QB fake job post goes viral after Prescott injury

DALLAS (BVM) – An online user posted a fake job posting for the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback position via Glassdoor and Hire The Better. The job description for the NFL QB reads, “If you ever held a football feel free to apply” and also notes that the starting salary is $500,000 and includes a signing bonus.
The available job post is going viral on TikTok and the video creator states that she found it on Glassdoor, but it appears to be taken down. The post on Hire The Better is still up, but in case it gets taken down, there’s a screenshot below of the requirements and benefits.

NFL fans in TikTok fashion started trolling the job post. The most liked comment so far is, “Chad Powers should apply.” Others noted that they aren’t interested because they don’t want to work weekends. Hopefully, the 27,000 people who liked the video didn’t bother on shooting their shot since the apply button takes the user to a random webpage.
The search for the new starting quarterback comes after Dak Prescott injured his thumb during the Cowboys’ Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But, there are already speculations that he will return sooner than later. Prescott returned to practice on Thursday, but he isn’t ready to hit the field just yet. Backup Cooper Rush will start in Week 3’s Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants.
