There, the Griffins remained tied with the Greyhounds as late as 15-15 before giving ground in an eventual 25-20 end. A third-set final of 25-12 concluded the match in the home team’s favor; 3-0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-12). Junior outside hitter Bria Purnell (Reading, Pa.) led the Gwynedd Mercy University offense with seven kills on a .130 (7K-4E-23TA) hitting percentage, while defense was a team effort that totaled 40 digs and two blocks.
