It goes to show you that having a very solid quarterback can raise the play of a team and mask multiple deficiencies. Through three games this season, the Irish have struggled, mainly due to quarterback play while the Tar Heels are undefeated, on the arm of Drake Maye with a spotty defense. There are plenty of weapons for Maye and since we know of his exploits (72/97 for 930-yards with 11 touchdowns and one interception), he won’t be featured this week but there cohorts will be.
