UC San Diego women’s volleyball played its eighth five-set match of the year, falling to UC Davis, 3-2, on Saturday evening in University Credit Union Center. The Tritons (8-8, 1-3 Big West) battled from two sets down to avoid the sweep but eventually fell to the Aggies (8-6, 3-1 Big West), 24-26, 20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 9-15.
