Fullerton – Cal State Fullerton scored late in the second half and held on to beat California State University, Bakersfield, 1-0, in a defensive slugfest, Saturday night at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, Calif. The Roadrunners, who nearly grabbed the game’s first goal just minutes earlier, fell to 0-2-0 in Big West play, and 2-7-1 overall, while the Titans improved to 1-1-0 in league competition and 6-4-2 on the season.
