Freshman Colin Morey (Groton/Groton H.S.) was the lone runner representing Tompkins Cortland Community College at the Mid-State Athletic Conference cross country championship Saturday in Corning. With a total of 29 racers from the six MSAC schools with cross country programs, Morey crossed the finish line of the 8-kilometer course with a time of 39:05, good for 26th place. The team race was won by SUNY Broome, with Connor Smith the overall individual champion with a time of 28:56.
