DETROIT (BVM) — The Detroit Pistons have a winning tradition that includes multiple world titles. These are the 10 greatest teams since the franchise started 75 years ago.

The legendary Chuck Daly won his first playoff series in season two as head coach of Detroit in 1985. They broomed the New Jersey Nets in a three-game sweep. That would give a glimpse of their potential, as the core of a championship team began to take shape. All-NBA first team point guard Isiah Thomas tallied a career-best 13.9 assists per contest to lead the league. Zeke paired that with a 21.2 point average to pace the Pistons. All-star center Bill Laimbeer logged a personal-high 17.5 points per game. Plus he added 12.4 boards a night. Guard Vinnie Johnson played a major role as well.
