MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas claimed the opening set of Thursday night’s pivotal Great American Conference match with Arkansas Tech 25-22, but the Muleriders were unable to keep the momentum as the Golden Suns won in four sets, while knocking SAU out of tournament contention. The Muleriders fall to 6-19 on the season and 4-10 in league play. SAU heads to Arkadelphia on Tuesday, November 1 for a 6:30 p.m. first serve against Henderson State.
