Women’s Soccer Advances to NESCAC Semifinals After Topping Bowdoin in PK Shootout
Heavy drama unfolded early Saturday afternoon as the sixth-seeded Wesleyan women’s soccer team played third-seeded Bowdoin to a 0-0 draw at the end of overtime. With the NESCAC Quarterfinal showdown needing penalty kicks to determine the advancing team, the Cardinals shook off the pressure and went 5-for-5 from the spot while Molly Brumbach ’26 made a save in the fourth round as Wesleyan advanced via a 5-3 penalty kick shootout victory.
