2022-23 MLB free agency: Top 3 best fits for Aaron Judge
3. Los Angeles Dodgers
Wouldn’t this be an embarrassment of riches? The Los Angeles Dodgers have certainly never feared spending big money and going over the MLB’s luxury tax to land a prized free agent as evidenced by last year’s signing of first baseman Freddie Freeman.
While the Dodgers don’t have a true need in right field with All-Star Mookie Betts already handling the position with ease, they could move Betts to second base and use Judge in the outfield instead if they prefer adding his slugging ability. Of course, the money would have to be there for Judge to make the move, but given the Dodgers’ willingness to spend in the past for superstars, that shouldn’t be an issue.
