EAST LANSING, Mich. (BVM) — The Michigan State Spartans have a long tradition of great talent. These are the top 10 players since MSU’s basketball program began.
Honorable mention:
Johnny Green (1956-59)
Green holds the MSU mark for total rebounds per game (16.4). The 6-foot-5 Ohioan is No. 3 in career boards (1,036) at Michigan State. Green’s play was instrumental as the Spartans advanced to the Final Four for the first time in 1957 and again in 1959. To add, he earned an All-American selection in his final season.
