Trojans hit Triple Figures; Nelson Phillips Ties NCAA Single-Game Steal Record Over Southern-New Orleans
TROY, Ala. – The night belonged to Nelson Phillips as he tied the NCAA record of 13 steals in a game to collect the 118-61 victory for Troy over Southern New-Orleans on Tuesday night in Trojan Arena. With the 118-point performance, the Trojans continue their best start since the 2002-03 season at 6-1 while advancing to 4-1 against first-time opponents this season.
