DETROIT (BVM) – Thanksgiving Day has historically given NFL fans some of the best games in league history. The holiday has become synonymous with family, food and football.

The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys have been staples of Turkey Day for decades and then in 2006, the NFL added a third game to the Thanksgiving Day schedule which includes a rotating selection of teams.

With the Buffalo Bills (7-3) set to take on the Lions (4-6) in Detroit, the New York Giants (7-3) ready to do battle with the Cowboys (7-3) and the New England Patriots (6-4) traveling to Minnesota for a primetime date with the Vikings (8-2), this year’s slate of Thanksgiving Day games is shaping up to be another exciting one.
