Honorable mention: Moses Malone (1986-88)

Malone is a Hall of Famer and an NBA legend who had some strong seasons in the nation’s capital but he’s more fondly remembered as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers which is why he misses the list here. Given his 21 years in the league and only playing two in Washington, Malone also didn’t play long in D.C. but he was incredibly effective as he was named an All-Star for both seasons and averaged 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 152 games.
