The Santa Clara University women’s basketball team pressured, pushed and competed with the No. 2 team in the country – 2021 national champion Stanford – on the road in front of more than 2,600 fans Wednesday, scoring the second-most points allowed by the Cardinal this season in an 82-69 non-conference setback at Maples Pavilion.
