Ranking the top 10 Boston Bruins players of all time

  1. Bobby Orr, D (1966-76)

Sometimes it’s not about the numbers; it’s about the presence one has on the ice. Orr had that notable presence during his playing days. He won the Art Ross Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy and Conn Smythe Trophy, given to the MVP of a team during the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs, in one year. He’s the only player in NHL history to do so.

Orr played in 631 games for Boston and accumulated 888 points.

On Jan. 9, 1979, his No. 4 jersey was retired. Orr was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame the same year, making him the youngest inductee ever, at 31 years old.
