Addition of Blanchard gives McGill hockey lineup two sets of brothers for first time
MONTREAL – The McGill University men’s hockey team has added an offensive-minded defenceman to its lineup. Alexandre Blanchard, a 20-year-old native of Pelham, Ont., located just northwest of Welland, has elected to transfer from the junior ranks to play for the McGill Redbirds of the OUA conference.
