Craig coaches the boys varsity team and Lisa coaches the girls varsity team.  They have been bowling since they were kids with over 40 years of experience.  It’s been a big part of their family over the years.  Their two boys Chandler and Jacob bowled all four years for Eisenhower.  Their Daughter, Sofia currently is on the girls varsity team.  They are also supported by a wonderful group of young men and women who are very passionate about the sport and volunteer their time.  Nick Krett bowled for four years and now coaches,  Nick Arnold and Carter Milasinovish and both of the Matheson’s boys Chandler and Jacob are part of the JV coaching team, Kim Milot is their practice coach and both her daughter’s Paige and Lauren are on the varsity team.  Paul Chyba and Mark Harnden are their assistant coaches and their son’s Jaydn Chyba and Dylan Harnden are part of the varsity boy’s team.

“We have an amazing group of coaches and a really great group of young adults as part of our bowling program. One of the best parts of the bowling team is we want you to come just as you are and leave just a better you! Everyone is welcome and there are no cuts to our program. It goes without saying that we want each kid to be successful and gain bowling skills, but we also want them to learn important life skills as well. Learning about sportsmanship, being a good teammate, being accountable, being coachable, being respectful and having FUN are just a couple of things that we teach and expect.

We have kids in our program that really have never bowled before and are learning the basic skills and bowling etiquette. It’s exciting watching a new student bowl a strike and hearing teammates all around him/her cheer so loud.  We love seeing the smile on that bowler’s face it’s such a priceless moment. You really don’t’ know who is more excited, the kid that bowled that strike or the teammates who watched! This never gets old to experience”, said Lisa.

She added, “We also have kids that have been bowling for a long time and they are learning more advanced skills and taking their game to the next level. We have kids that have bowled a 300 game before and even an 800 series! It is awesome to see the kids who are committed and how much they are willing to put in to achieve their goals. There is something super special with this Eisenhower Bowling Team. Our teams have all done really well this year and are excited to see where all this talent takes us!”

Without a doubt, the work ethic and the drive to succeed will help these kids continue to do great things!
