The 10 longest regular season win streaks in NBA history

19 games – Los Angeles Lakers, 1999-2000

This Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal-led Lakers unit was dominant throughout the 1999-2000 campaign, but never more so than during this 19-game stretch, which ranked as the third-longest streak in league history at the time. The Lakers began the run with a dominant 113-67 win over the Utah Jazz on Feb. 4, 2000. However, the streak would end in a 109-102 heartbreaker against the Washington Wizards just over a month later on March 16.

Though Los Angeles didn’t carry the streak into the postseason, that didn’t matter as the team made it all the way to the NBA Finals. As the No. 1 seed in the West, the Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings 3-2 in the first round, the Phoenix Suns 4-1 in the Western Conference semifinals and the Portland Trail Blazers 4-3 in the Western Conference finals before defeating the Indiana Pacers 4-2 in the NBA Finals.
