ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford University women’s basketball team fell to Wisconsin Lutheran in its first home game of 2023 by a final score of 79-37. The Regents struggled in multiple areas throughout the contest, allowing the Warriors to take over the game halfway through the first quarter, and never give the lead back. The one bright spot for the Regents was smart defensive play when it came to fouls. Wisconsin Lutheran was only awarded eight free throws the entire game, compared to the 29 Rockford took. Katie Paredes had her second-straight double-digit scoring game, recording a team-high 13 points.
