Kenny Mayne: From college QB to ESPN’s funny man

Kenny Mayne has almost done it all in the sports world. He began as a walk-on quarterback for the Washington Huskies before joining the UNLV Rebels and even was in front of Randall Cunningham on the depth chart. Mayne then went on to have a lengthy career in television. He started while in college. After moving back home, he worked at his local TV station for seven years. Mayne finally got his big break at ESPN in 1994 and stayed there for 27 years. His comedic and often goofy nature made him one of the most popular anchors on SportsCenter and resulted in him having hosted a collection of other shows and programs. Being featured in several movies and television shows, Kenny Mayne has an on-air presence like no other.
